Abolish ICE? Yes, please.

There are several reasons why you might want to have an organization called something as innocuous as Immigration and Customs Enforcement. None of these is being done by ICE right now.

We at Right and Freedom have been doing this for a long time - a very long time. Next year, it’ll be 10 years. But here’s the deal: when you put the pieces together, ICE is the American Gestapo. Don’t like what I just said? Change my mind in the comments, but first listen to this podcast.

But the blame doesn’t start and stop with ICE. As we’re seeing in society today, we’ve proven that ICE can be deterred with sufficient community involvement. Make it clear that you won’t tolerate kidnappings by masked men shoving people into the backs of unmarked cars, and they will go away. Yet there are still so many people who are getting locked up and sent places like Alligator Alcatraz, which should have a perpetual wall of protestors blocking traffic, if necessary.

These are human lives. Yes, I’m getting preachy now. This episode got me because I have a young son, and I can only imagine if this happened to him. Listen, and learn, what torturous, hellish world we’ve created by not getting involved. If you’re on the fence, now’s the time to get off of it. People are slowly being starved in Alligator Alcatraz, in case you weren’t aware. Some day, we’re going to look upon that place like Auschwitz, wondering why there are so many human-sized mounds of dirt in the swampland.

The time is now.

And our image? It’s from the last time “mass deportations” were enacted in this country. Nothing about this is new. But it’s still cruel.
