What happens when a violent extremist is murdered? Apparently, we whitewash their history in real time. This seems to be what mainstream media are doing. One might assume it’s to stop the escalation, but from our perspective, escalation occurs whether we take action or not. Not calling for violence. Just, are you staying silent because you think it’ll make a difference? Are you whitewashing because you think it’ll make things easier? It won’t.
The only thing that makes a difference is not staying silent. Who was it who said silence only helps the oppressor? It’s time to start thinking about that.
