There’s one thing that we can say about Donald Trump: he’s got what, among my USMC friends, we used to call “the gift of gab.” That’s a (not so) fancy way to say charisma. He’s got it, but unlike Spider Man, he uses it for bad instead of good. He’s campaigning with the richest person in the world. Question for all of you out there: who’s best interest is DJT interested in? Is it the middle class? Or the corporate would-be oligarchs of America who he promised to cut taxes for. This is who he is. If it doesn’t reciprocate, he doesn’t do it. Say what you want about that as a personality trait, it’s a damn poor way to lead a nation, and especially a pluralistic democracy like the United States.
