Look. This capitalism thing is great. There was a time when there was no other countering force in society other than religion, and we saw what happened there, with people murdering each other for their religious beliefs. But capitalism overcame that. Rather, the rise of the middle class overthrew the divine right of kings, bringing an end to the Dark Ages in what came to be known as the Enlightenment. And this did well for a while, until the same personality types that abused kingship also figured out how to abuse corporate leadership.
The truth is, capitalism isn’t all that great. The difference is that instead of one king, now we have an oligarchy filled with Capitalists. That’s the truth.
