Not a Monolith
There’s often a perception that the United States Military are a monolith, and typically tend to be conservative. This couldn’t be farther from the truth! The military are as diverse as these United States they hail from. Three former Marines are bringing you our opinions on today’s political events, and it might not be what you expect.

We are going through a period of change as a nation. It’s important to support each other and to have candid conversations about what’s going on in our nation (RaF hail from the United States).
We are NOT an Echo Chamber
We are non-partisan. That’s not to say that we don’t have strong opinions, and that at this particular time in history, we find ourselves on one side of many issues. Our oath to defend the Constitution requires making judgments using the Constitution as the test against which we measure current-day problems. In other words, we try to ask the question: what does the Constitution say about it?
We Post Regularly (mostly)
Our weekly audio-only 30-minute podcast records on Sunday, and usually posts by the following Wednesday. We do bonus episodes at times, and as we move more content to Substack, we’ll be doing additional sound clips and occasional video recordings as well.
Time to Fight
One of the things that we’re taught pretty early on in Marine Corps training is how to behave in an ambush properly. Running for the hills will only get you killed. In an ambush, the right thing to do, and by that I mean the thing that increases your odds of survival, is running and shooting toward the ambushers. This is in no small part why we’re here. We’ve all been ambushed by un-American extremists attempting to warp our nation into something it’s not. Do we run and cower, and hope this passes? Not if you’re a former Marine! And we hope, not if you’re…you.

We’ve Said Nothing About Us..uh, Who Are We?
We’re not shy. But this isn’t really about us. This Substack is about building community, with a focus on Constitutional values, in the proper historical context. While we are a diverse group that reads kind of like a bad joke (a doctor, an engineer, and a chef walk into a bar…), it’s not that important who we are aside from being former Marines. For names, Don (chef), Chuck (engineer), and Christina (doctor) will do, but if you join our Founder’s tier, we’ll have a meet-and-greet later and you can learn all the gory details!
Now, I'd like to point out that you should listen to this podcast. But also, you should understand some things first. We are Marines, so we don’t watch our language or sugar-coat things. Join or subscribe only if you want to hear our unadulterated opinions and thoughts.
