Subsidize This!

We know what it's like to be hungry sometimes. The poor people we've known were among the hardest-working individuals we've ever met. So this SNAP thing is personal to us...

IMPORTANT: In this podisode, we discuss the October jobs report. We’re actually discussing the September report, as there is no official BLS October jobs report yet.

Luxury vacations, mega-yachts, and…SNAP? What’s wrong with a little party sometimes?

So listen. Let’s get personal. At times, my mother worked three jobs to help provide for our family when I was growing up. This wasn’t unusual for the area where I lived, where people often lived in the ruins of old farm homes. The ability to pay for everything that people are in need of is there. We, our administration, anyway, choose not to. Their gamble is that the Democrats care more about the American people needing to eat than they do.

Read that again.

The people we’ve hired to work for us are using us as sacrificial pawns in their negotiation to take medical care away from the people and put it firmly in the hands of the private sector.

It sounds good. But think about it for a minute.

How much would you pay to keep your mother alive? Father? Sister? Brother? Son? Daughter? What’s the upper limit other than your ability to pay?

That’s why healthcare can’t be private sector. And why wouldn’t the government of the people, for the people, by the people help support the people?

Makes no sense. We talk about all of this and more in this podisode.
