Violence Begets Violence

It’s well established that suffering through violent acts tends to produce people who are more likely to perpetuate violence against others. This is a well know truth. So every time a school is shot up, every time a person is victimized for their divergent but non-toxic beliefs, we’re rolling the dice on upping the violence within our culture. Couple this with the instigation of violence by internal (to the United States) and external actors, and we’re in a powder-keg situation in this country. Between the billionaire propaganda tools (now X and Truth Social) and the lack of a consistent interpretation of events (i.e. “news” organizations), including the deliberate disinformation, turns American against American. We need to think carefully about the future we want, and vote accordingly.
