During this podisode, we discuss prisons and the Prison Industrial Complex. Why, you might ask? Because that’s what we’re dealing with here, at least, that’s what we think. We’ve had legalized slavery for a long time. We just stopped calling it slavery. And now, the chickens of our poor past decisions are coming home to roost, as they say. It’s shitty that we’re in this situation where ICE has a quota and they’re looking for people to populate these new prisons they’re building.
Reminder: Homan said, “we’re going to need 100k beds.” They’re not finished building the prisons they want yet, and every single one is a private prison, and is going to make someone a whole lot of money.
