In fairness, this podisode isn’t just about coal. We also talk about climate change and its on our lives. There are forces in this world, in this nation, that choose to ignore the consequences of climate change. For example, the EPA used to believe that fossil fuels hurt the climate. Fortunately, Trump has reversed that rule, and so now we get to revert to the climate of the 1970s. For some unknown reason, climate change deniers are a resilient group. Just like many of the Epstein conspiracy theorists, when a narrative doesn’t work for their story, they move goalposts or flat out lie to themselves and others.
So let’s just say it. Climate change is real. And we’re not doing enough to stop it.
