We’re at that interesting time in history where we have to figure out how much of our history is going to repeat, and how much is simply coincidence. At the time of this writing, we’ve had people sent to concentration camps (i.e. without due process of law), judges being arrested for speaking out, protests in the streets, and general incompetence installed at the head of our major governmental executive organizations. Whether or not it’s the President’s right to put whomever they desire in leadership, the question remains: is the President doing what is necessary to protect the American people, or is he simply accruing power. All signs point to the latter, unfortunately. Nobody over here likes being right about these things, but literally since Trumps prior presidency, we’ve been speaking out about how much of a threat he is. Take it from these crusty old former Marines: fascism is upon us. And whatever you’re doing right f*&!ing now is exactly what you’d have been doing during the rise of the third reich. That stings, doesn’t it?
