Birthright, Schmirthright
The facts are that birthright citizenship is in the constitution. But…the United States Supreme Court has said, in a nutshell, that it depends. Because in Texas, a federal judge may decide differently than a federal judge in New Jersey on the merits of whether birthright citizenship is a thing. In other words, despite the fact that the Constitution explicitly calls birthright citizenship a thing, determining the constitutionality of a law or action will be handled on a district-by-district basis.
Does this make sense? Is there a separate Constitution for each district? This is a problem.
Treat it as such.
