Represent this!

Congress is meant to represent the people. So question—what happens when Congress is not doing that? What happens when, in order to secure their re-election, Congressmembers have shifted to self-interest and don’t care about their constituents. Why?

Because Citizens United.

This is the rule that says that Corporations (and filthy rich corporate owners) represent the voice of the members. In other words, the Supreme Court has decided that they don’t care that the uber-wealthy have their thumb on the scale of this country. There’s some quote about the spirit of the law versus the letter of the law. These people? Using the letter of the law to violate the spirit of the law.
